Bruce beats the heat at Ras Y Gader

In his first attempt at the iconic Ras Y Gader on Saturday 18 May, Bruce Fanshawe continued his excellent form by finishing a superb 7th overall. This despite the hot conditions which made the event particularly challenging this year. Altogether, 15 Mercians took part. Individual experiences were mixed as injuries and the effects of the heat took their toll on some. There were 286 finishers overall.
