Long Mynd: Important areas for nesting birds 2019

The attached map identifies important areas on the Mynd for nesting birds. Please try avoid these areas when training on the Mynd, especially during the nesting season of mid-March to mid-July. The wet areas should be avoided at all times. The wet areas are used by Snipe and Curlew, valley sides by Winchat and Wheatear plus Merlin, the top plateau by Grouse.
