Well that's our first attempt at RO done, and it was an entertaining one to say the least! Firstly, Simon Adney and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped last night. These races can't happen without you. We didn't get to see everyone before they left to thank you in person, but it was hugely appreciated.
There was some confusion on the route, with some interesting alternative lines taken! We'll have to take that one on the chin and learn for next year. Given the number of people that went wrong, and the fact there didn't seem to be any advantage gained in terms of time, we decided not to DQ people, however if you feel you lost out on a position or prize because of this, please do get in touch.
We hope you all enjoyed it anyway, it was a beautiful evening for racing and everyone seemed to have a smile on their face (I think a few even preferred the alternative route!)
