Attached map shows the race route and start/finish.

THIS IS A NEW COURSE! I like an occasional change! It will do the circuit in the opposite direction from previous years, with the "out section" turning left at the fence corner, going along the fence (as a previous route of this race took in thenpast), but then contouring around into Callow Hollow and then steep down to CP1 which is on the south side of the stream at the usual crossing point of the stream. CP2 is half way up the "old" descent. Then any way up to Callow summit (CP3), and the usual down to the finish. We're having the finish just 200m up from the gate as it is too steep, and I deem a needless risk of falls. I hope to have an additional prize for anyone not already on a prize category for the fastest descent from Callow.

kit - wind top if windy or rainy

After costs, some funds from this race will go to a range of charities to be decided , and a fee to the National Trust.

No Course record as it is a new route.
