2022 Mercia Championship

Following a successful year of fell running by club members for the club championship, I am delighted to publish the final standings (see attached pdf file). There were 32 qualifying races, spread throughout the year, providing a wide range of challenges within the compass of fell running. Over 100 members completed at least one race, with 23 members achieving the required number and type of races in their categories to be eligible for championship consideration. Well done to everyone who took part, including ROs and volunteer/marshals.

I will be deciding on the qualifying races for 2023 when the FRA and WFRA release their events calendars, and making the Mercia club championship race list available to members as soon as I can. I would encourage all members who wish to, to take part in next year's club championship by racing, or by volunteering to ensure events take place.
