Shobdon Wood race is a completely off-road trail race along forest tracks and footpaths through Shobdon Wood, just one mile out of the village of Shobdon in North Herefordshire. It is approximately 11k with a few hills and stunning, far reaching views of Herefordshire, Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Parking and registration takes place at the old Forestry Commission field centre HR6 9NJ, where there are toilets but unfortunately no changing facilities. There will be signposts for the event from the B4362. Parking may be limited so please car share if possible.
Please allow for a ten minute walk from registration to the start of the race.
Prizes will be awarded for top 3 male and female finishers, for most veteran age categories and for male and female teams of 3 in a short presentation when all the runners have crossed the finish line. There will be one prize per runner.
Minimum age for entries is 15 years of age on race day.
We regret that we are not able to offer refunds for this event.
Online entries are limited to 140 but there will be on the day registration for an extra £2. One-line entries via www.entrycentral.com
