Callow Fell Race was a classic Summer race which has now been moved to be part of the Winter Series. Although it is an AS race (8km/762m 5 Miles/2400ft), it has been described by runners as one of the toughest races in Shropshire. The route starts not far from Little Stretton and takes you up four steep valley climbs and finishes on a fast, exhilarating descent.

The race will start at 11am, number/dibber pickup open from 10am. Race HQ at Little Stretton Village Hall.

PLEASE - Do NOT park near the Church and not in either Pub car parks. Car share where possible as on street parking is limited.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Men and Women.

Full WFRA kit will be mandatory for the event. Waterproof tops and legs with taped seams, hat (a buff is a hat), gloves, compass, whistle, food and drink as needed for the conditions, map (will be on sale for a donation to the WMSAR), something to carry the kit (bumbag/rucksack). No GPS for navigation.

It is recommended that runners have previous fellrunning experience/mountain skills as there will be limited number of marshals.
